Social and messaging channels

LINE uses Messaging API; Messenger connects Facebook Page messages; Instagram Direct requires a professional account; WhatsApp connects Business messaging; Telegram uses a bot token. Each channel needs its own authorization or setup.

Websites, email and custom systems

Embed website chat on an existing site, manage messages from a support email inbox, connect SMS through Twilio or Bandwidth, or integrate your own system through a custom API channel.

How are inboxes counted?

An inbox connects a support source and organizes its conversations; it is not a message or agent count. Free supports 3 inboxes, Team 5 and Business 20. Separate website chat inboxes for two brands use two inbox slots.

What is not available yet?

Twilio Voice and WhatsApp calling are not available yet. Support for a messaging channel does not imply support for every calling or advanced feature of that platform.

Are there extra charges or approvals?

Free, Team and Business can use supported channel types, but third-party providers may require account eligibility, authorization, review or separate fees. Check the provider’s requirements before connecting.
